Course structure

Pharmacy Leadership Development

Nine month blocks on WBL development, implementation, and closing.

Three 1 month blocks theory, 4 modules, 1 full day a week.

1. Introduction to the course. Aims and objectives are laid out. WBL project discussed and chosen. Trainee informed that they have access to all trainers for the duration of the course.

2. In store the trainee will develop broad plans for the WBL project. Store visits will commence.

3. Phase 1, The Business and You. The trainee develops a deeper understanding of your business and their own leadership qualities. During this phase the trainee will develop concrete plans for their WBL project.

4. The trainee will implement their project in store. Store visits continue.

5. The trainee will continue to implement and monitor their WBL project. Store visits continue.

6. Phase 2, The Manager. The trainee will develop their management skills for your business. During this phase the trainee will assess, reevaluate and restructure their WBL project with the consultation and support of the trainers.

7. The trainee will implement any new plans developed in phase 2 for their WBL project. Store visits continue.

8. The trainee will continue to implement and monitor their WBL project. Store visits continue.

9. Phase 3, The Leader. The trainee will develop their leadership skills. During this phase the trainee will start to develop plans to bring the WBL project to a close.

10. The trainee will bring the WBL project to a close. Store visits will continue.

11. The trainees will develop a report on the success or not of the WBL and what was learned. They will then build a presentation of their WBL project. Store visits continue.

12. Presentations given to the Management Team and trainers. Grades awarded and course concludes.

The WBL will help the trainee to practically use all the theory they have learned in the 3 phases. They will lead their teams to implement new strategies for your business.
